Eric Lomas (Director 2011/2012)

Eric trained as an actor in England and studied Musical Theatre in Vienna. He was an ensemble member at the International Theatre for four consectutive season, where his roles have included George Gibbs in Our Town, Eric Birling in An Inspector Calls, Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest, Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap and Jerome in Three Men in a Boat. Further engagements took him to Theater der Jugend, Theater Akzent, the European Youth Theatre, various summer festivals and on a European tour of the musical Cabaret, in which he was featured as a soloist.

Early on in his career he turned to directing, with plays by Shakespare, Brecht, Strindberg and Frisch. He is currently working at Theater an der Wien as an actor, and preparing productions of „Hayfever“, „The Laramie Project“ and „The Comedy of Errors“.
